WHAT ARE THE TIMES OF THE COMP? Fishing Contest from 6.30am on the Saturday, and close 12noon on the Sunday. Angling times are between 9am and 8pm local Edenhope time Saturday and 6.30am and 12noon local Edenhope time Sunday. Competitors must not fish prior to the start time on the day of the competition and may result in disqualification.

WHERE IS THE COMPETITION HELD? The Competition is held at Lake Wallace, Edenhope, Victoria. Approx 395km from Melbourne, and 385km from Adelaide. Get directions from your location here.

ATM – CASH We have an ATM at the Bendigo Bank.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS? No, however children need to be supervised at all times.

IS THERE ACCOMMODATION IN AND AROUND EDENHOPE? Edenhope Lakeside Tourist Park is right on the edge of the lake. They have toilets and showers, as well as being close to main activities. There are some more accommodation options – CLICK HERE to view.

IS THERE CAMPING AROUND THE LAKE? There is FREE camping in designated areas around the lake (no booking required). For insurance reasons, ALL people free camping around the lake, MUST be REGISTERED.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER TO TAKE PART IN THE FISHING COMP? Yes. Registration Tickets can be purchased online
HERE. OR you can register in Edenhope next to West Wimmera Rural Servies. from Wednesday the 31th of October to 4pm 2nd of November. The Registration Tent will be then taking registrations after 4pm 2nd November and will be located at Henley Park – visible and clearly signed. Before putting a rod in, please make sure you come to the Registration tent to check in and receive your Rod Tags and Stakes so you can claim you fishing spot.

ARE THERE PUBLIC TOILETS? There are public toilet blocks located throughout the area – lakeside and in the town. There will also be several portable toilets placed around the lake.

IS THERE ANYTHING FOR KIDS TO DO? Yes, this is a family-friendly event for all ages.

ARE PETS ALLOWED? Pets are permitted at your campsite and must be kept on a leash at all times.
